FORMS OF ENTERTAINMENT
There are as many ways of entertainment as people over the world. The most common forms of entertainment are: reading, going to the cinema or to the theatre, going out with friends, watching TV, practising sports, travelling…the list could be never ending.
From my point of view, the way you choose for entertainment tells a lot about your personality. If you practice parachuting you might be a very energetic person, quite crazy and corageous. But if you are the one who spends hours collecting stamps, you might be a calm person, maybe a little bit shy and with a lot of patience.
If you think about it some forms ofentertainment are really silly. To put it simply: football is one of Spaniards’ favourite activities, not only to play but also to watch. Ten people running after a ball. It doesn´t seem a very smart or intellingent activity, but there are even nobel prize figures keen on this sport
In general terms each of us has something they like more than ant other thing. That could be the definition for the word “entertainmet”. In my particular case: I love tennis. If I wonder why I like it I would say that is the way to concetrate myself on the ball and to forget about evrything else. Is like and absortion status in what your are doing, and it´s a wonderful feeling because the minute you start to play you forget about the rest of the world: you forget about your worries and your fears.
The more varied your entertainment is the longer you can be happy. My father-in-law had an interest for everything, he was a very curious person, so that broght him the oportunity of having a lot of great moments. On the oposite side, nowdays, there are a lot of children whose favorite sentence is: “I´m bored”, and I think: what a big problem!!
