Guess de city

November 25, 2009

The city I am talking about is one of those which were nominated  Human Heritage. This icy small Castilian city is the one closest to heaven, therefore it common to remember it as a snow-covered city.

Surrounding its old quarter there are huge medieval grey stone walls, which is what this city is renowned for.

During your stay there, you should taste its tasty t-bone steak and its delicious little egg cakes which take its name from a famous Saint who was born there.

Walls, palaces, temples and monasteries could help you to follow a thematic route but what I really recommend is a relaxing walk along the cobbled streets of this austere peaceful city getting away from it all and trying to discover this special spirit which will make you return to it.

Come on, it is very easy!

Excellent!! It´s Avila! And the famous sweets are “yemas” of Saint Teresa. The prize is for you!
