Who hasn’t heard of Tarzan? The man who was raised by apes in Africa.

Tarzan of the Apes was the first novel of Edgar Rice, and after that more than a dozen different books and comics have been written and  several films about this amazing character who was able to speak in the apes’ language were shot .

It was commonly assumed that Tarzan was a fictional character created by Edgar Rice, but now it is believed that Tarzan’s character was based in the real life of Keitia Kung, a black man who disappeared into the forest when he was a child and appeared many years later in good physical form but being unable to say a word. Therefore researches said that the book Tarzan of the Apes depicts real events, with a slight difference, Keitia was brought up by lions not by apes.

It is assumed that several pictures about a black man surrounded by lions in a peaceful way, have been found in a cave, near the place where Keitia had disappeared.
